Pramel is a development economist and agroecology expert with 25+ years’ experience in sustainable agriculture, rural livelihoods, and social enterprise. He has co-founded Natural Capital and pioneered models like Green Chakra and Maati Mange More. Former CEO of Vrutti and National Anchor for NCNF, he combines grassroots practice with policy advocacy to regenerate soil, empower youth, and scale rural circular economies.
Anju is a community development professional with over a decade of grassroots experience in gender, health, and rural livelihoods. At Natural Capital, she leads operations, training, and women’s collective engagement, ensuring agroecology transitions are inclusive. She has worked with UNICEF, UNDP, and DFID-supported projects, and brings expertise in participatory monitoring, gender sensitization, and livelihood promotion. She anchors Natural Capital’s field operations with a strong focus on empowerment and impact.
Raghunathan is Co-founder of Catalysts Group, with 30+ years of leadership in livelihoods and social enterprise design. He has mentored numerous national initiatives and models in sustainable rural development. His expertise in scalable social business solutions continues to guide Natural Capital in strengthening its enterprise and impact strategies.
Ravindra is an Associate Professor at the Natural Resources Institute, University of Greenwich (UK), with 20 years’ experience across 14 countries in natural resource management, sustainability certification, and evaluation. He has led projects for the World Bank, UNDP, IFAD, and DFID. His expertise in impact assessment and resource governance strengthens Natural Capital’s technical rigor.
ChandraPal is a grassroots development professional coordinating the Green Chakra pilot initiative in Central India. He manages farmer outreach, product distribution, and SHG/FPO engagement through Green Chakra Champions. With deep field experience, he strengthens decentralized hubs, builds farmer trust in bio-inputs and desi seeds, and links producers with local markets. His role is central to demonstrating Green Chakra’s potential as a scalable rural enterprise model.
Nita is a young practitioner specializing in bio-input production and natural farming practices. She supports Bio-Input Resource Centres (BRCs) in composting, organic fertilizer production, and farmer training. With her technical skills and hands-on field support, she plays a vital role in restoring soil health and promoting eco-friendly alternatives to chemical inputs, helping farmers reduce costs and improve productivity.
Govind focuses on farmer mobilization and demand creation for bio-inputs and desi seeds. He works with Green Chakra Champions, SHGs, and FPOs to increase awareness, build trust in natural inputs, and expand adoption of ecological practices. His grassroots engagement ensures that Green Chakra’s products and services are widely accepted and accessible to smallholder farmers.
Munna Lal is an experienced bio-input trainer and practitioner with strong expertise in natural farming. He mentors farmers and FPOs in establishing and operating Bio-Input Resource Centres, ensuring quality production and local adoption. His practical approach and farmer-friendly training methods make him an effective bridge between traditional knowledge and modern agroecological solutions.
Natural Capital works through a strong network of partners – from grassroots NGOs to national coalitions and farmer institutions – to co-create models of agroecology and rural enterprise.
